Job summary

CHOT is seeking a Compliance Specialist (In-house) in Fort Worth, TX to lead hospice quality improvement initiatives and education. The role drives HQRP oversight, staff training, and regulatory compliance across service lines including palliative care and hospice services.

The incumbent will develop curricula, perform data analysis, and coordinate staff orientation while collaborating with executive leadership to ensure infection control and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Nursing with Texas licensure as LVN or RN.
• Demonstrated skill in education program planning/implementation and evaluation.
• Experience in hospice quality measures, improvement, and compliance initiatives.
• 5 years of nursing experience.
• Knowledgeable of hospice regulations and infection control practices.
• Prefer 3+ years hospice leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts needs assessment of clinical staff and adjusts training curriculum.
• Monitors regulatory requirements and best practices for inclusion in training.
• Develops curriculum, presentations and conducts training sessions.
• Coordinates clinical staff orientation and follow-up training.
• Executes the HQRP and data collection, reporting and recommendations.
• Provides guidance on quality management and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assists with compliance activities and maintains knowledge of Home Care software reports.
• Serves as primary resource for infection control issues with leadership.
