Job summary

Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, CA is seeking a Program Manager Hospice to oversee the Hospice Services program. You will lead planning, staffing, budgeting, and operations to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care while complying with policies and standards.

Reporting to the Director of Home Health/Hospice, you’ll guide clinical and clerical teams and drive growth and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated relationship management with internal and external partners.
• Experience leading operational performance improvement initiatives and team engagement in clinical and non-clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program planning, staffing, resource allocation, budget management.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Provide leadership to clinical and clerical staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, patient census, and outcomes to improve efficiency and care quality.
