HOSPICE PHYSICIAN

BAYADA Home Health Care Hospice is seeking a full-time Hospice Physician for our VT Locations. These offices provide top-quality care to hospice clients across VT and one location in NH. Applicants must have a valid VT/NH license but can work remotely.

Qualifications:

• Exemplifies The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence, and reliability
• Valid medical or osteopathy license in VT/NH, with proof of current licensure
• Extensive knowledge of professional standards, laws, regulations, and policies related to hospice care
• Valid DEA registration and any applicable state registration, with proof upon request
• Unrestricted medical staff membership and clinical privileges at any of BAYADA's inpatient facilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and uphold The BAYADA Way
• Oversee palliation and management of terminal illness, comorbidities, and symptoms
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings for comprehensive care planning
• Certify and recertify client eligibility for hospice care
• Ensure Plans of Care are medically appropriate and compliant with laws and regulations
