Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. You will perform bedside evaluations, collaborate with physicians, and manage treatments to relieve suffering for patients and families in a hospice setting.

The role requires current RN and APN licenses, with hospice or palliative care experience preferred, and eligibility to prescribe medications. A supportive, patient-centric team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current RN and Advanced Practice Nurse licenses in the relevant state.
• Controlled Substances license required.
• Hospice or Palliative care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside palliative care evaluation and assist with diagnosis, treatment and management.
• Consult with palliative care physician or designees and inform primary physician of services provided.
• Prescribe medications including controlled substances as licensed; maintain accurate patient records for reimbursement.
