Amedisys in Texas is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the care center's overall operations and financial health. The role directs care center functions and ensures delivery of quality care according to policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business or clinical related field.
• Two years hospice experience with at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Or two years of leadership/management experience in healthcare or hospice.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or clinical related field.
• Preferred: Licensed RN or health care professional (state-specific).

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall organizational and financial management of the care center and direction of care center operations per policies.
• Enhance business development and continuous improvement of care center efficiency and fiscal success.
• Provide supervision to the clinical manager(s) ensuring delivery of quality care to patients.
• Provide input on marketing activities and care center marketing plan to meet growth goals.
• Coach, direct and encourage staff.
• Implement a performance improvement program to drive quality care and outcomes.
• Address issues from surveys or audits and ensure corrective actions.
• Remain available to the care center at all times, in person or by phone.
• Make employment decisions for direct report staff (hire, fire, promote, etc.).

Education

Associates degree in business or clinical related field

Two years hospice experience

One year supervisory experience

Bachelor's degree in business or clinical related field

Licensed RN or health care professional (state-specific)
