Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking an on-call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours patient care, including weekends, while balancing work and life with a 7 on/7 off rotation from 5pm–8am. You will support families, assess comfort, and coordinate with caregivers to ensure compassionate end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend care as needs arise for our patients.
• Enable patients to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy.
• Build trusting compassionate relationships with your patients and their families.
• Empower caregivers by educating them on care for their loved one.

Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse / RN Requirements

• RN license in the state you work

Compensation range: $40.04- $72.09
