Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school and licensed as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state where they practice.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Medicare conditions of participation.
- Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to hospice patients.
- Determine hospice eligibility and pain and symptom management.
- Participate in the care of the hospice patient as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
