Job summary

Advantage Home Care in Albuquerque, NM seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to evaluate and treat patients using current technology and practices. You will communicate with physicians to decide the initial plan of care based on assessments and orders.

You will monitor clinical outcomes, participate in CQI initiatives, educate Home Health Aides and LPNs, and spend more time with patients to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) documents the mutual recognition for multi-state practice.
• Ability to assess patient status and identify age-specific needs.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse specific to that state the employee is assigned to work
• Minimum of two (2) year of hopice experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) documents the following: The mutual recognition model of nurse licensure allows a nurse to have one license (in his or her state of residency) and to practice in other states (both physical and electronic), subject to each state’s practice law and regulation (nurses must legally reside in a NLC state to be eligible to have a multi-state license)
• Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with no DUIs, revocations, or suspensions within the past 5 years
