Job summary

Moments Hospice seeks a skilled Music Therapist to lead treatment using personalized music interventions. You will collaborate with our clinical team to ease patients’ symptoms and improve comfort in their final days.

Responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, educating staff on therapy suitability, and promptly documenting notes within 24 hours. This role involves on-the-road work and requires a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Music Therapist credential required.
• Experience as Music Practitioner or graduate of a health/music program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations (HIPAA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist patients in music therapy interventions.
• Reduce symptoms (anxiety, depression, isolation, agitation) through music.
• Educate the clinical team on music therapy appropriateness and contraindications.
• Maintain accurate records within 24 hours of sessions.
