Job summary

Grace Hospice is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our interdisciplinary care team in the Minneapolis area. You’ll assess patients, design individualized music therapy plans and provide visits to promote comfort, connection, and quality of life, while collaborating with the team and documenting care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Music Therapy and MT-BC certification, with 1+ year of experience (2+ preferred) and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current MT-BC certification through CBMT.
• At least one year of music therapy experience; two+ years preferred.
• Hospice or healthcare experience preferred.
• Compassionate, creative and able to connect with diverse patients and families.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Pay Range: $29.00–$33.00 per hour, based on experience

Grace Hospice is looking for a compassionate, creative Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you’ll use music therapy to support each patient’s emotional, physical and psychosocial needs while creating individualized experiences based on their preferences, strengths and goals. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your patient visit schedule while collaborating with a supportive team of hospice professionals.
