Job summary

Grace Hospice Minneapolis is seeking a compassionate Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our interdisciplinary care team in Minneapolis, MN. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized plans, and provide visits that promote comfort, connection, and quality of life.

The role requires MT-BC certification, a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, and at least 1 year of experience (2+ preferred). A driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed to support patient visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current MT-BC certification through the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
• At least one year of music therapy experience; two or more years preferred.
• Hospice or healthcare experience preferred.
• Compassionate, creative and comfortable connecting with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Grace Hospice is looking for a compassionate, creative Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our interdisciplinary care team.

In this role, you’ll use music therapy to support each patient’s emotional, physical and psychosocial needs while creating individualized experiences based on their preferences, strengths and goals.
