Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Hospice Music Therapist position.

In this role, you will be responsible for using music therapy to improve the emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being of residents in end-of-life care. Collaborates with a team to offer personalized musical experiences that brings comfort, eases anxiety and pain, and supports residents and their families. This position needs deep knowledge of music's healing benefits, good communication skills, and the ability to create a caring environment for those with terminal illnesses.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in music therapy from an accredited program
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related healthcare setting (preferred)
  • Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) credentials are required
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Pay Range
$25.24 - $30.65 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
