Qualifications

• Valid and current massage therapy license/certification as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional massage and body treatments according to hospice protocols.
• Assess and establish individualized massage plans aligned with care plans.
• Provide comfort touch in homes or care facilities with appropriate adaptations.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and physicians for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on benefits and limitations of massage therapy.
• Maintain sanitation, documentation, and safety standards.
• Attend staff meetings and ongoing training as required.
