Job summary

Absolute Hospice is seeking a compassionate Massage Therapist to provide hospice massage services across Caldwell, Cambridge, and Zanesville areas on a PRN basis. You will tailor sessions to comfort needs and collaborate with the care team to support quality of life for patients and families.

Requirements include a current state license as a Massage Therapist, with at least one year of clinical massage therapy experience (two years preferred).

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state license, certification, or registration as a Massage Therapist.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical massage therapy experience; 2 years preferred.
• Home health or hospice experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic massage services tailored to the individual comfort needs of hospice patients.
• Promote relaxation, comfort, and an improved sense of well-being.
• Create a safe, caring, and respectful environment for every patient.
• Develop and organize massage therapy services based on prescribed care and patient needs.
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to support each patient's comfort and quality of life.
