Job summary

Brighten Life Home Health is seeking a dedicated Massage Therapist to provide hospice massage services across our service area. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling, one-on-one patient care, and autonomy in treatment planning.

You will collaborate with nurses and social workers while traveling to patients, maintaining documentation, and educating families on massage therapy benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Massage Therapy license or certification as required by state law.
• Experience working with hospice, geriatric, or medically complex patients preferred.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy services to hospice patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Help promote comfort, relaxation, and quality of life
• Educate patients and families on massage therapy benefits
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and other care team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow safety, sanitation, and hospice care standards
• Travel throughout the service area to provide patient care
