Warm Hearth Hospice in Christiansburg, VA is seeking a motivated Hospice Marketing and Community Liaison to grow our program across the New River Valley. You will build relationships with hospitals, physicians, SNFs, home health agencies, and social workers to expand referrals and educate the community on hospice services.

Qualifications

• Healthcare marketing, outreach, or business development experience preferred.
• Hospice/home health or senior living experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage a community-based territory independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, SNFs, assisted living, home health agencies, social workers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
• Conduct outreach visits, educational presentations, and in-service programs.
• Educate partners about hospice services, eligibility, and referral process.
• Coordinate with hospice clinical team to facilitate transitions of care.
• Represent Warm Hearth Hospice at community events and professional meetings.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase hospice awareness and growth.

We are looking for someone who shares that commitment and can build meaningful relationships throughout our community.This position is ideal for a healthcare marketing professional who enjoys networking, developing referral relationships, educating the community, and helping patients and families access the care they deserve.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, home health agencies, social workers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals.Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen existing community partnerships.Conduct regular outreach visits, educational presentations, and in-service programs.Educate referral partners about hospice services, eligibility, and the referral process.Respond promptly to referral opportunities and coordinate with the hospice clinical team to facilitate appropriate transitions of care.Represent Warm Hearth Hospice at community events, professional meetings, and networking opportunities.Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase hospice awareness and support sustainable program growth.Track outreach activity, referral trends, and marketing results.Collaborate with hospice leadership and clinical staff to ensure excellent communication and service for patients, families, and referral partners.Promote hospice services ethically and in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations.QualificationsExperience in healthcare marketing, community outreach, business development, or relationship-based sales preferred.Hospice, home health, senior living, or other healthcare experience strongly preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication, networking, and presentation skills.Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations.Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a community-based territory independently.Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate automobile insurance.Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting tools.A degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive annual salary of $62,000–$74,000, based on qualifications and experience.Additional bonus incentives based on established performance goals.Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel at 0.65 cents per mile.Paid time off.Health, dental, and vision insurance, subject to plan eligibility.Retirement savings plan, subject to plan eligibility.Supportive leadership and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community.Why Join Warm Hearth Hospice?At Warm Hearth Hospice, we believe local care matters.
