Job summary

ViaQuest Hospice is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our team in Somerset. You will support RNs and Physicians, administer medications, and help maintain accurate patient records while delivering compassionate care in our hospice setting.

Travel within the service area is required. We offer comprehensive training, a full benefits package, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, flexible scheduling and an employee referral program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• LPN license.
• Nursing or patient care experience preferably within Hospice specialty.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Assisting RNs or Physicians in performing specialized procedures, duties and plan of care items.
• Administering and instructing administration of medication.
• Maintaining current patient records and progress notes.
• Maintaining regular communication with RN concerning patient and family care needs.
