Job summary

Software Placement Group is recruiting a Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time position in the Kansas City metro area. You will deliver skilled, compassionate care to patients nearing end of life and work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality, dignified care.

Responsibilities include symptom management, patient and family education, and timely documentation. Missouri LPN license and one year of nursing experience are required, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Missouri LPN license valid for practice.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Current driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and vehicle liability insurance.

Location: Kansas City Metro, MO (east) | Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Overview

A respected hospice care provider is seeking a full-time Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver skilled, compassionate care to patients nearing end of life. This nurse will support symptom management, monitor changes in patient condition, educate patients and families, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality, dignified care.

What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care to hospice patients in home and facility settings
• Assess patient needs and monitor symptoms, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Educate and support patients and families regarding symptom management and end-of-life care

Required qualifications
