Job summary

Ethos is seeking a dedicated Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift in Missouri. You will provide skilled, compassionate care to hospice patients in home and facility settings, monitor symptoms, administer medications, and support families as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Required is an active Missouri LPN license, at least one year of nursing experience, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Hospice or palliative care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri LPN license is required.
• Hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work day shift (Mon–Fri).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to hospice patients in home and facility settings.
• Assess patient needs and monitor symptoms, vital signs, and changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding symptom management and end-of-life care.
• Communicate changes and concerns promptly to the RN and interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.

We are actively searching for an LPN Hospice nurse to join our team! This nurse will provide skilled, compassionate care to hospice patients, support symptom management, monitor changes in condition, educate patients and families, and work closely with the interdisciplinary care team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to hospice patients in home and facility settings
• Assess patient needs and monitor symptoms, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Educate and support patients and families regarding symptom management and end-of-life care

• Current LPN license valid for practice in Missouri
• Current driver’s license
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience
