Job summary

CarePartners Health Services in western North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in hospice and palliative settings, following physician orders, applying standards of practice, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

The role requires an ADN or BSN, NC RN license (eNLC may apply), BLS certification, and at least one year of experience. Join a mission-driven team delivering compassionate care across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON; RN must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Experience: One year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows the plan of care, provides treatments, and works collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
• Provides direct patient care as defined in State Nurse Practice Act, including specialized duties related to end of life care
• Participates in coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group, including Hospice Aide, Director of Clinical Services –Hospice, and Chaplain
• Provides appropriate pain/symptom management
