Hospice Buffalo is seeking a Part-time (2 shifts/week) RN for the Inpatient Unit on the Mitchell Campus in Cheektowaga, NY. The unit provides a home-like setting for patients whose pain or symptoms require hospital care, with short-term respite and rotating holidays.

As an Inpatient Unit Registered Nurse, you will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, coordinate the interdisciplinary team, and document care while upholding HIPAA and organizational policies.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in the State of New York.
• Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required for on‑duty or on‑call use.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates ability to perform comprehensive assessments and document plans of care.
• Administers medications and uses pain protocols to achieve optimal relief.
• Organizes and prioritizes assignments to meet productivity and documentation standards.
• Explains the roles of the interdisciplinary team and disease progression in common hospice conditions.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and adheres to agency policies and procedures.
