Job summary

Delaware Hospice is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide homecare primarily in New Castle County. New grads are welcome to apply; hospice/homecare experience is not required as we train you in our Katybug program.

Qualifications

• Current Delaware RN license to practice.
• Valid driver’s license as per policy.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or home care.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination of interdisciplinary hospice services for patients and families.
• Conduct weekly nursing assessments and manage care plans.
• Support primary caregivers in performing patient care tasks.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, Social Worker, Chaplain and other team members.
• Participate in shift coverage and ensure safe patient handling (lift 30–60 lbs).
• Adhere to health care safety guidelines and industry standards.
