MaineHealth Care at Home is seeking a Home Health Aide (CNA) to join our team in the Waldo & Knox County area(s). This position offers flexible scheduling, with 5 to 6 patients per day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The role does not require starting from an office. While experience in home health is preferred, training is available with current employees already in the field.

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants:

• 0-1 years of experience: $2,500 (full-time)
• 1+ years of experience: $4,000 (full-time)

Eligible candidates are hired into a full or part-time CNA position. Bonus amounts are prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth employees and those separated from MaineHealth for less than 6 months are ineligible.

Position Summary: This position involves 40 hours per week. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide performs in-home care tasks to help maintain and restore patients' physical, social, and emotional health.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Valid driver’s license and vehicle available for work, covered by liability insurance as per agency policy. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
3. One year of experience as a CNA or Home Health Aide preferred.
