Job summary

SSM Health Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI, is hiring a Food Service Associate for part-time evenings (16 hours/week). You will prepare, portion and serve meals, ensuring safe handling and sanitation while supporting patient care within the Home of Hope facility.

No experience required beyond High School diploma or GED; duties rotate among preparation, serving, stocking and cleanup with occasional flexibility in hours. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Duties cover preparation, portioning, serving and distribution of meals.
• Follow safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Ability to read patient meal orders and prepare trays per diet requests.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads and utensils.
• Read patient meal orders and prepare trays according to diet cards.
• Transport food carts and deliver meals to patient units.
• Maintain sanitary work area and proper equipment care.
• Document temperatures and report out-of-range readings.
