Job summary

Luminary Hospice is seeking an Executive Director/Administrator to provide the overall direction of hospice services and to lead qualified personnel in delivering compassionate, compliant care. You will establish standards of care, manage budgeting, and ensure regulatory adherence while driving strategic goals and collaboration across departments.

RN licensed, business healthcare leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in TX is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a master’s degree in health care (or related field) is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in health care management.
• Ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Able to engage effectively with the community and stakeholders.
• Understanding of Medicare Hospice Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational planning and budgeting for hospice services.
• Ensure regulatory, legal, and accreditation compliance.
• Maintain ethical business and patient care practices.
• Monitor financial stability and service performance with measurable outcomes.
• Direct staff during admissions, discharges, and provision of service.
• Coordinate with departments and senior management to meet goals.
