Job summary

Ohio’s Hospice in Dayton, OH is seeking a dedicated DME Technician to prepare, clean, inspect, and manage medical equipment used for hospice patients. Based in the Dayton equipment warehouse, you will work with delivery staff and clinical teams to ensure equipment and supplies are ready when needed to support patient comfort and dignity.

The role involves cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare, medical equipment, warehouse operations, or inventory management experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize medical equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and safe for patient use.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Assemble, disassemble, and prepare equipment for delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track equipment distribution.
• Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and supply replenishment.
• Load and unload medical equipment and supplies; prepare for scheduled deliveries.
• Collaborate with DME delivery personnel and clinical teams.
