VNAcare in Southern California is seeking a Hospice Director (Full-time, exempt) to lead our hospice program from Apple Valley. The role requires an active California RN license and a BSN or higher; prior hospice management experience is essential.

You will oversee regulatory compliance, coordinate with medical directors, manage budget discussions, and promote a collaborative, patient-centered care model across teams while supporting a healthy work culture.

Formación

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in California.
• A registered nurse with a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing or another health-related field preferred.
• Minimum of three to five years successful management experience in hospice care.

• Demonstrate support and fulfillment of the agency’s mission, vision, values.
• Implements and monitors agency initiatives to achieve strategic goals.
• Communicates and coordinates with peers, leaders and staff in a timely, professional manner.
• Promotes a healthy work environment and effective collaboration across departments.
• Maintains compliance with Medicare regulations, accreditation standards, and payer requirements.
• Participates in budget development and aligns with CFO and CEO guidance.
• Contributes to staff education and regulatory training to ensure ongoing compliance.
