Job summary

Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional end-of-life care to patients in West Chester and surrounding communities. Join our team and make a meaningful difference in patients' comfort and dignity.

You will work with the interdisciplinary team, perform personal care tasks, observe patient changes, document care, and support families. This role offers a supportive environment, mileage reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania CNA certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area.
• Hospice, home health, or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Build compassionate relationships with patients and their families.
• Follow hospice policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

Position Summary
