Job summary

AMOREM in Boone, NC seeks a Nurse Assistant to support the patient care unit on AM or PM shifts, delivering compassionate, holistic care at the bedside. You will work with the RN and interdisciplinary team, following infection control, assisting with daily activities, and monitoring patient needs while reporting changes promptly.

Requires NC CNA/Assistant Training graduate, CPR, and a valid state registry. A reliable automobile and valid driver’s license are important for this role.

Responsibilities

• Follow infection control procedures and safety standards.
• Administer daily care safely; assist with ambulation and meals.
• Document results and monitor patient status per RN guidance.
• Observe changes in condition and report promptly to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to call lights promptly and support staff as needed.
• Ensure plan of care safety measures are in place.
• Maintain patient laundry and clean rooms per checklist.
• Perform other nursing assistant duties as assigned.
