Visiting Nurse Health System (VNHS) is hiring a compassionate Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant to serve patients in Cobb and Fulton, GA. The CNA will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, engaging families with empathy and respect in a hospice setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent in training and experience.
• Completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• GA CNA certification is required.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience in hospital, nursing home, or home health; hospice a plus.
• Reliable transportation, GA driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in all CNA skills required for hospice care.
• Provides direct personal care to patients under RN supervision according to plan of care.
• Reports changes and documents care rendered; notifies RN Case Manager of significant changes.
• Follows infection control standards and safe techniques at all times.
• Maintains accurate records per company policy.
