Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Nurses Aide, CNA for a per-diem hospice visiting clients across Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties. You will join a dedicated team delivering home health aide, skilled nursing and palliative care to help clients remain at home.

We offer flexible schedules, 1:1 patient care, and a comprehensive benefits package. Must have access to reliable transportation and active PA Aide Registry status.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of work experience.
• Must be listed on the PA Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
• Have a criminal background check completed.
• Meet all state requirements.
• Enjoy being part of a team and uphold BAYADA values.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living for clients.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Bathing, grooming, toileting and nail care.
• Range of motion exercises and transfers using equipment.
• Administer oral feeding and monitor vital signs.
• Support home management tasks and transportation as required.
