Job summary

BJC Home Care is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care and support in patients' homes within the Parkland Intermittent Home Care Department in Farmington, MO. You will collaborate with RNs and therapists to meet basic nursing needs and ensure comfort, nutrition, and safety during each visit.

Requires a CNA, BLS, and a valid driver’s license, with mileage reimbursement and a schedule of 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs and other measurements as directed and documents findings promptly.
• Meets patient hygiene, comfort, nutrition, and hydration needs and documents as required.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal findings or changes in patient status to the nurse throughout entire shift.
• Implements care under the supervision of the nurse or Primary Case Manager. In Home Health, this can be done with a RN/PT/OT or Speech Pathologist.
