This role focuses on supporting patients with daily living activities, promoting comfort and safety, and assisting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care.**Key Responsibilities*** Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating .* Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly* Assist with patient mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation* Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment, including changing linens and sanitizing equipment* Document care provided and update patient records accurately* Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with procedures and care tasks**Qualifications & Requirements*** Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas.* High school diploma or equivalent* Current CPR and proof of auto insurance* Valid Driver’s License* Must pass drug test* Basic knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology* Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nursing staff* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods* **Knowledge of Point Care charting system preferred but not required.****Skills & Competencies*** Compassion and patient-centered care* Attention to detail and observation skills* Teamwork and collaboration* Time management and organization* Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment**Work Environment**CNAs work in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and memory care units**Physical Requirements*** Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting* Ability to safely move or assist patients* Manual dexterity for patient care tasksThe employer for this position is stated in the job posting.
