Job summary

Magnolia Hospice in Burnet, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a full-time role to provide essential patient care and support to comfort and safety. This position involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the nursing staff to deliver high-quality care in a compassionate environment.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and ensure a clean, safe patient environment while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant course and certification as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide mobility assistance and help with walking, transferring, and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision of licensed staff.
• Collect specimens for lab tests as directed.
• Document patient condition and care provided in medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
