Job summary

Hearth Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team in Chattanooga. You will provide hands-on care to patients at the end of life, collaborating with our nursing team to ensure comfort, dignity, and compassionate support.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, career growth, PTO and holidays, tuition assistance, wellness programs, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Holds current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum one year CNA experience in an acute care or long-term care setting; hospice exp a plus.
• Possess and maintains CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the plan of care to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of patients and support for families.
• Assist with Personal Care: Help with bathing, oral hygiene, bedding changes, clothing, and shampooing.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Deliver exceptional care and support to patients and families.
• Provide Support for Families: Share knowledge and guidance to help caretakers manage care at home.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Record details in both home care and agency records.
