Job summary

Bethany Hospice & Palliative Care in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to visit patients in the local community, provide hands-on care per the care plan, and help ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of aide experience; hospice experience is a plus. We offer a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CNA certified in PA.
• At least 1 year of aide experience; hospice experience is a plus.
• Vehicle, driver’s license and car insurance.
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and needs of the terminally ill.
• Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• Presentation of negative TB test or CXR as required by state law.
• Demonstrate good judgement and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to provide documentation in a timely manner.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
• Desire to be part of the best hospice team in western Pennsylvania.
