Job summary

Morning Star Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in homes and facility settings. You will support comfort, dignity, and quality of life for hospice patients, working closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, stable full-time scheduling, and the chance to build meaningful relationships with patients and families within a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania CNA license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Ability to travel locally to patient sites.
• Experience in hospice, hospital, long-term care, home health, or staffing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support safe transfers and mobility for patients.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the team.
• Document care accurately and thoroughly.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain a clean, safe care environment.
• Protect patient dignity and privacy.
