Job summary
Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care MO seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate team in Missouri. The role supports daily resident care, ADLs, hygiene, mobility, meals, and safe medication reminders.
You will work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with travel to care sites as needed; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. We offer competitive pay and strong benefits as part of Ascend’s patient-centered mission.
Qualifications
- State Certified CNA license is required.
- Hospice or home health experience preferred.
- No experience necessary, but 1 year preferred.
- Willingness to travel to care sites.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with ADL, personal hygiene, grooming and nails.
- Assist with toileting, transfers, and positioning.
- Support prescribed exercises/ROM as taught.
- Light housekeeping of the unit and patient laundry.
- Assist with meals and feeding.
- Take temperature, pulse, and respirations under supervision.
- Report changes to Hospice Nurse and document communications.
- Remind and assist with medication per regulations.
