Job summary
Hospice Services of Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Hospice CNA to provide personal care, light housekeeping, and emotional support to patients in their homes across Plymouth and Bristol Counties.
You will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, monitor patient conditions, and ensure comfort and dignity for patients and their families. Prior MA CNA licensure is required, with weekly pay and benefits described in the listing.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Massachusetts
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely and comfortably
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming
- Assist with feeding, toileting and ambulation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Work with interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient conditions
