Job summary

Hospice Services of Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Hospice CNA to provide personal care and emotional support to patients in their homes across Plymouth and Bristol Counties. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and monitor patient conditions.

You will directly assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting and ambulation, while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered MA CNA license is required.
• Ability to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Strong communication with patients, families and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Hospice CNA - Easton, MA

Join Hospice Services of Massachusetts, a compassionate organization dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses. As a Hospice CNA, you will play a vital role in our care team, providing personal care, light housekeeping, and emotional support to patients in their homes throughout Plymouth and Bristol Counties. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and monitor patient conditions.

$22 to $24 an hour with weekly pay, depending on experience.

About the Role

As a Hospice CNA, you will be responsible for performing personal care needs for patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with feeding, toileting, and ambulation, as well as provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and monitor patient conditions.

Requirements

• Must hold an active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Massachusetts
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely and comfortably
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
