Job summary

Buckeye Hospice and Palliative Care Services seeks a compassionate Hospice Clinical Supervisor, RN to support our Akron office. In this leadership role, you will coordinate patient care, mentor clinical staff, ensure compliance with Medicare, Ohio regulations and ACHC standards, and help maintain high-quality hospice services.

You will oversee daily clinical operations, conduct home visits as needed, review records, participate in QAPI, and lead staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of home hospice or skilled home care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care by clinical personnel.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff to ensure quality care.
• Assist Director of Clinical Services with operations and staff development.
• Review medical records for documentation accuracy and quality.
• Participate in QAPI activities and data collection.
• Review intake information to determine patient needs and staffing.
• Assist with onboarding of new clinical employees.
• Provide in-service education and coaching to staff.
• Conduct home visits and provide direct care as needed.
• Monitor supplies and ensure availability for patient care.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Ohio regulations, and ACHC standards.
• Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback and mentoring.
• Promote professional growth through training and best practices.
• Perform additional leadership tasks as assigned.
