Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations, onsite at our Rosemont location, to lead hospice clinical teams across partner hospital inpatient units. The role requires an Illinois RN license, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and travel up to 80% within the covered territory.

You will supervise clinical staff, manage scheduling and ensure compliance with regulations while driving high-quality patient care and family support.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in Illinois.
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience accepted.
• Role may require travel up to 80% of business days in supported territory.
• Knowledge of home-based care theories and practices; ability to handle complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all direct patient/family care team members, including nurses, home health aides and counselors, in collaboration with Site Leadership.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and other administrative duties.
• Ensures initial assessments and required reassessments are conducted within required time frames.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Implements protocols to guide operations and promote regulatory and process adherence.
• Monitors expenses related to patient/family services in collaboration with IDG and Site Leadership.
• Serves as a liaison for Social Worker, Volunteer, Music Therapy and Bereavement Departments.
