St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Chaplain to provide emotional, practical, and spiritual guidance to patients and families on the hospice journey. You will work with the patient care team to ensure holistic support, coordinating with community chaplains and volunteers as needed.

The role requires theological training and a commitment to compassionate care, with emphasizes on confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in a home-care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of a degree, five years of ministerial experience may be considered.
• Theological coursework required.
• Must pass background, consumer report and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional, practical and spiritual guidance to patients and families.
• Coordinate with the clinical team and community chaplains.
• Maintain records for quality assurance and HIPAA compliance.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and provide spiritual care consultation.
• Recruit and educate community chaplains, counselors, and volunteers.
• Develop and maintain bereavement program and follow-up care.
