Heart’n Soul Hospice seeks a Chaplain (PRN) in Miami, FL to provide compassionate spiritual care to patients and families at the end of life. The role involves independent assessment, counseling, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in a setting that honors diverse beliefs.

Requirements include theological education (BD/MDiv or equivalent), CPE units, board certification or ordained ministry with pastoral experience, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Formally educated in theological disciplines with relevant clinical pastoral training.
• Experience in healthcare or death and dying contexts preferred.
• Ability to work in interfaith settings and provide spiritual care without bias.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage an assigned caseload of hospice patients and families with autonomous spiritual assessment.
• Conduct individualized spiritual assessments and identify needs across faith traditions.
• Provide pastoral counseling, crisis intervention, and real-time emotional support.
• Participate in IDG meetings and present spiritual care plans.
• Manage bereavement relationships with families following patient death.
• Collaborate with clinical team to address ethical and spiritual issues.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and Heart to Heart policies.
