Trinity Hospice in Dallas, TX seeks a PRN Chaplain to provide in-home spiritual care to terminally ill patients and families. You will assess spiritual needs, offer counseling, and facilitate visits by clergy or counselors as part of the IDG.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support holistic care. Qualifications include a Master of Divinity (preferred), state licensure guidance, and about one year of healthcare chaplain experience.

Job Summary:
Primary function is to provide spiritual care in the home to terminally ill patients and their families. To provide an assessment of the patient’s and family’s spiritual needs and to provide counseling to meet those needs. Makes reasonable efforts to facilitate visits by local clergy, pastoral counselors or other individuals who can support the patient’s spiritual needs.
Participates as a core member of the Interdisciplinary Group.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Master of Divinity, preferred.
Licensure: Per state guidelines, if any
Experience: One (1) year experience as a Chaplain in a health care institution preferred.
Skills: Working knowledge of community spiritual and other resources. Good interpersonal skills.
Transportation: Reliable transportation. Current auto liability insurance and drivers license if personal vehicle is used
for work.
