Job summary

Your Health Organization seeks a Hospice Chaplain to support palliative and hospice patients across the Charleston area, visiting homes and Assisted Living Facilities. You will provide spiritual and emotional guidance to patients and families, fostering compassionate presence and meaningful conversations.

The role requires collaboration with the hospice team, flexible hours, and travel between offices and care sites. A Master of Divinity and ordination are required, with CPE preferred.

Qualifications

• MDiv or equivalent theological degree required.
• Ordination or endorsement from a recognized religious organization.
• CPE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spiritual assessments to understand beliefs and needs.
• Provide spiritual counseling and support to patients and families.
• Offer prayer, scripture reading, and spiritual rituals as requested.
• Facilitate meaning-making and life review conversations.
