Absolute Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Chaplain to join our team. Part-time or full-time positions available to provide spiritual care and emotional support to patients and families on their hospice journey.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, respect diverse beliefs, and offer guidance that honors individual values. On-call coverage and reliable transportation are essential. We welcome dedicated professionals to help families find peace and strength.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited theological school preferred.
• Experience providing counseling or spiritual support to diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of local religious/spiritual communities within hospice service area.
• Ability to connect with patients and families from varied backgrounds.
• Understanding and commitment to hospice philosophy of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and families.
• Offer compassionate guidance respecting each person’s faith, beliefs, values, and spiritual preferences.
• Support patients and loved ones as they navigate end-of-life challenges and transitions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to meet each patient’s needs.
