Responsibilities

• Report to the Administrator or Patient Care Manager and work under the supervision of the RN or Clinical Supervisor.
• Help patients with personal hygiene, safety, and environment maintenance.
• Assist with meals, feeding, ambulation, and light housekeeping.
• Support treatments as ordered and promote mental alertness through activities.
• Provide emotional support, report changes, and practice infection control.
• Complete accurate documentation, attend meetings, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, kind, and empathetic nature.
• Comfortable providing care at patients' homes.
• Flexible and composed in crises.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and CPR certification.

Gentiva offers comprehensive benefits, competitive salaries, and opportunities for professional growth. Salary range: $14.20/hr to $16.75/hr. This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position.
