Responsibilities of a Hospice Aide/CNA

• Report to the Administrator or Care Manager under supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Assist with personal hygiene, environment safety, meal preparation, feeding, ambulation, and light housekeeping
• Follow care plans and state regulations for treatments
• Support mental alertness and provide emotional support
• Report changes in patient condition to the team
• Practice infection control and document visits accurately
• Participate in meetings and quality improvement activities

Candidate Requirements

• Compassionate, empathetic, and flexible
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred
• Current driver’s license, insurance, and CPR certification
