Job summary

Heartland Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide/CNA to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes, assisted living, or inpatient units, supporting daily living activities and comfort at end of life. You’ll collaborate with a caring team, document visits, and follow infection control and safety protocols while delivering emotional support to patients and families.

The role requires active CNA license, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and at least 6 months of direct

• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance (Required).
• Six (6) months of direct patient care experience (Required).
• Comfortable working in home settings, hospice facilities, or long-term care environments
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and ability to handle emotional situations
• Willingness to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs

Responsibilities
